As a contracted Ophthalmologist or Optometrist with Leidos QTC Health Service, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties including:
- Performing comprehensive vision screenings
- Interpreting clinical data
- Refraction and prescription
- Tonometry
- Vision screen with color with and without correction
- Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Pre and Post-Deployment Assessments
Required Qualifications:
- MD or OD from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience as an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist.
- Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice
- Completed Education and training in an US accredited college or university
- Ability to pass a medical clearance
- Ability to pass a NACI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience conducting occupational medical examinations
Work Schedule and Compensation:
- Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace and frequency!
- Location: Hinesville, GA (within 40 miles)
- Compensation: Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.
