Description
Description As a Blood Collection Specialist, you will play an essential role in collecting high-quality plasma and other specialty cell products, used to help save and improve lives. If you have strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to donor safety and comfort, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you can expect:
Schedule: Days (Monday-Saturday) Four 10-hour shifts per week. Start time varies (Days) weekly.
Training: Days Monday -Friday.

- Perform venipuncture and plasma collection procedures following SOPs and FDA guidelines
- Monitor donors throughout the donation process to ensure safety and comfort
- Accurately label, process, and document collected plasma samples
- Educate donors on the plasma donation process and post-donation care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR certification required.
- Six months previous work experience with apheresis machine (Alyx/Haemonetics) required.
- Previous source plasma experience preferred.
- Bilingual, proficient in both English and Spanish (reading and speaking), with a familiarity of related medical terminology is a plus!
