Description
The Division of Surgical Research at Heart Institute, Morsani School of Medicine, University of South Florida is seeking applications for a senior Postdoctoral Research Associate focused on cardiac and vascular cellular electrophysiology. This position is Grant-Funded.
\nCandidates must possess a PhD and/or MD degree and have relevant postdoctoral research training.

This job description does not constitute an employment contract.Applicants will participate in a research program focused on basic cardiovascular electrophysiology, ion channel trafficking, calcium dynamics, cardiac/vascular cell isolation/culture, fluorescent staining, data analysis, microvascular physiology and cardiovascular functional recording.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in cellular electrophysiology (single and whole-cell ion channel recording via patch-clamp technique) in endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and cardiac myocytes.
