• The continued development of the ascidian model of development and immune maturation.
\n
• The expansion of our current understanding of how distinct environmental cues influence development and pursue translational opportunities with clinical faculty.
\n
• Serve as a mentor to trainees at all levels
\n
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
\n
• Serve as a dependable and responsible member of a BSL-2 certified, basic, translational, and biomedical research laboratory.
\n
• Analyze data and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
\n
• Present at local and international meetings.
\n
• Develop an instructional portfolio by serving as a guest lecturer when possible
\n
• Help to draft grant proposals for submission at the local, regional, and federal levels
