Position Overview
As a Presell Service Representative, you will be the face of Community Coffee for our customers, delivering products, performing services, and representing our premium brand every day. You will manage your route, interact directly with customers, and ensure our products are well stocked and easy to find.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery truck.
- Load and unload products and equipment, double-checking orders before leaving the warehouse.
- Rotate and merchandise products so they are fresh, organized, and easy for customers to access.
- Collect payments and complete bank deposits as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery and sales records using a handheld device.
- Keep vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance checks like oil, fluids, and tire pressure.
- Solve customer issues on the spot, whether it is a delivery question or product concern.
- Pick up empty containers and damaged or outdated items and handle them according to company procedures.
- May be assigned additional duties, as necessary.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Passing score on aptitude test required in lieu of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in direct-store delivery (DSD) or similar roles preferred.
- The ability to use tools like electric pallet jacks and forklifts is a bonus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- CDL is required ONLY if operating vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
- Must be 21 or older with DOT medical certification and a pre-employment physical.
- Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.

This is a hands-on role where you will be active throughout the day. Expect to:
- Visit 20-30 customers per day.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and occasionally push/pull up to 100 lbs. using pallet equipment.
- Spend time standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, climbing in and out of the vehicle.
- Work both indoors and outdoors, occasionally in moderate warehouse noise or varying weather conditions.
- Use full range of vision and movement to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
