The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a(n) Product Owner within the Grouper Applications and Medical Necessity (GAMN) business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Building, refining and prioritizing a product backlog, guiding a Product Development Delivery Team on the efficient execution of that backlog, ensuring the features and functionality, produced by the team, fully meet the client expectations delivering on time in full software releases
• Analyzing market/customer needs and breaking down business requirements that can be delivered through the product
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, development, and technical support to deliver high-quality solutions to maintain strong client relationships
Business & Strategy Focus
- Responsible for managing and maintaining business key performance indicators (KPIs) for the GAMN product portfolio, using a bowler format to present to leadership quarterly with the ability to understand and speak in detail to financial metrics including P&L details
- Drive product decisions on industry disrupting technologies through the various parts of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Be a key contributor to develop short term and long term Product Strategy, including definition of value proposition for new features and ability to help develop portfolio priorities based on business value
Client Focus
- Conduct VOC with customers to evaluate and research improvements/workflows to delight the customer
- Provide product overviews and demos to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Work with Marketing to develop and manage reference sites for product portfolio
- Provide structured client feedback to development teams to inform product enhancements and roadmap planning
Stay Relevant
- Stay up to date with knowledge of industry changes and product changes. Participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, comply with professional and quality standards, comply with corporate policies and procedures, and act in a manner consistent with Solventum HIS values and ethical standards.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Computer Science, Business or a related field from an accredited university and 8 years of experience in Health Information, Product Owner or Product Management roles in a private, public, government or military environment.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of 12 years of experience in Health Information, Product Owner or Product Management roles in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Familiarity with health care claims processing software and/or clinical classification methodologies is required.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Solventum HIS product knowledge, especially Core Grouping Software (CGS) and Grouper Plus Content Services (GPCS) is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledgeable in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) workflows, systems, implementation, and Medicare, Medicaid and Value Based Care methodologies
- Attention to detail, proven analytical and problem-solving skills with outstanding follow through
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to translate technical details into business language for clients
- Experience using collaboration tools to manage and communicate with remote teams and the ability to work both independently and in partnership with team members in various parts of the organization
- Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.
Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
