Description
Job Overview: The LGUS HyCO division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Technician in Liberty, TX. The production technician, working under the direction of lead technicians and the facilities manager, has responsibility for supporting day-to-day operations at the Moss Bluff facility. The facility produces supports the hydrogen pipeline via hydrogen storage in a salt cavern and boosting capabilities, this site also runs and supports a PSA site in Baytown. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the equipment associated with PSA, compressors, dryers, Salt Caverns, and oil removal systems. Primary Responsibilities: - Adjustments to process variables. - Startup and shutdown of process equipment. - Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-out. - Correctly and safely permit maintenance work. - Monitoring equipment performance. - Responsibilities require 12-hour shift rotation, on-call, and scheduled overtime. - Effectively communicate with fellow operators, technicians, engineers, and managers. - Adhere to all Corporate and Plant policies. - Maintain the highest degree of personal safety and environmental accountability at all times. - Maintain high standards of housekeeping. - Participate in daily and monthly safety and production meetings. Qualifications: - HS Diploma. - Associate degree preferred. - 2 years Production/Operations experience or equivalent industrial experience. - Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required.
