Quality Associate (Production)
The Quality Associate assumes a pivotal role centered on the investigation, monitoring, and resolution of quality issues within Group O. This involves delving into the root causes of discrepancies, anomalies, or deficiencies in our processes, utilizing a combination of analytical tools, data analysis techniques, and collaborative engagement with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses strong technical skills, including proficiency in quality methodologies and tools, and excel in analytical problem-solving. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are essential, along with a solid understanding of internal quality procedures. They embody a quality-driven mindset, adapt to change, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for evaluating and verifying that the combined management system meets all applicable ISO standards.
- Execute quality audits to ensure processes and outputs meet established ISO9001 standards and specifications. This includes conducting inspections, audits, and tests at various stages of our processes.
- Maintain accurate records of quality activities, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance documentation. Ensure documentation is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible for reference.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to quality. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and proactively address any potential issues or concerns.
- Utilize Monday.com to implement quality results across all departments of the building.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite by clearing debris, removing trash, and sweeping or cleaning surfaces to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality procedures, tools, and methodologies. Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability across the organization.
- Analyze feedback and complaints related to quality. Work with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to address concerns effectively.
Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with ISO9001 or other quality related standards.
- Prior experience in general labor or related fields.
- Understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen diligence.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to Group O's services.
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on business workloads.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift items up to fifty pounds.
- Frequent bending, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time.
