Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time - NOC Shift Fri-SunLocation: Bellingham, WA
Program: 400-21350
Hours: Full-time
Pay: $48.71 - $82.59 DOE
Compass Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bellingham! As a vital member of the multidisciplinary care team, you'll provide direct nursing services and oversight to ensure high-quality care for clients within our behavioral health programs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Administer injectable psychiatric medications based on provider orders.
- Conduct nursing assessments and provide ongoing physical and mental health monitoring.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and serve as a medical liaison.
- Provide medication education and coordinate refills, pharmacy communication, and inventory.
- Maintain nursing documentation and transcribe orders as needed.
- Participate in emergency response and implement appropriate medical interventions.
- Support clients and staff in promoting wellness and recovery.
- Current Washington State RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time psychiatric nursing experience.
- Ability to obtain MHP certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- In-depth knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and involuntary commitment laws.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Organizational aptitude and calm problem-solving approach.
