Description Vitalant is seeking a Registered Nurse to specialize in Therapeutic Apheresis. Your Impact as a Registered Nurse is vital. You will play a pivotal role in Vitalant's life-saving mission by performing advanced clinical procedures, specifically therapeutic apheresis procedures such as stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections, all while operating under the supervision of a licensed physician. What to Expect
Schedule: Days Monday - Friday. Will rotate On call once trained (one night per week M-F and one W/E per month)

- Perform all trained procedures.
- Process therapeutic orders, coordinate procedure necessities, and contribute to development, implementation and evaluations of methodologies.
- Conduct intraoperative procedures under physician supervision, monitoring patient blood loss and assessing apheresis-related patient status.
- Provide excellent care as well as education to patients, donors and families.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions or equivalent expertise, (such as infusion, dialysis, or critical care).
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of rationale and techniques relating to assigned duties required.
- RN license in state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Valid driver's license required.
