This role is responsible for supporting warehouse and returns operations by delivering excellent customer service, accurately processing customer returns and credits, and maintaining inventory integrity. The position works closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure returned materials are handled efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
Typical Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive customer experience and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Follow all company SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Navigate the warehouse/yard layout, bin locations, and product inventory.
- Process customer returns and credits accurately and timely.
- Maintain accurate records and inventory using RF scanning and barcode equipment.
- Coordinate with sales, CSRs, customers, and the Returns Administrator to ensure timely return processing.
- Maintain the Return Goods Queue to company standards.
- Assist receiving, shipping, and yard operations as needed.
- Support general warehouse and yard housekeeping.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or
- 12 years of related experience and training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications & Licenses
- Ability to pass operator exam and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Must pass a substance abuse screening.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, grasp, handle, reach, and use fingers.
- Regularly required to sit, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must perform essential job functions safely and with consistent alertness.
- Vision requirements include near and far vision, depth perception, and color vision.
- Work performed primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to extreme weather.
