- Senior Financial Accountant
Description
The Senior Financial Accountant will be part of a team of professionals working to provide accurate, timely, financial reporting of the Company's financial results. In this role, you will be analyzing financial statements, conducting analysis and financial reviews of revenue, expenses, and overhead, reconciling account balances, calculating accounting estimates, and providing various financial support to the enterprise.

Specific Job Duties:
- Analyze monthly financial statements and present financial results to various leaders within the company.
- Perform account reconciliations/reviews.
- Compiles data into financial reports, analyses, and creates new financial reports as required.
- Manages the general ledger to ensure integrity of financial information and reporting.
- Assists in the preparation of the firm's operating budgets, capital expenditure budgets, and financial modeling.
- Develop/calculate significant, complex accounting estimates.
- Calculate bonuses and profit-sharing estimates based on personnel compensation plans.
- Assists in the monthly and yearly closing processes.
- Responsible for recording and reviewing recurring journal entries.
- Assists in the preparation and execution of the companies' compliance and regulatory audits.
- Identifies and reports accounting related issues to appropriate management.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of financial information.
- Exemplifies teamwork and camaraderie.
- Works with department managers and other enterprise personnel on a daily basis providing accounting support.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Vistal.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company sponsored training in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus
- 7+ years of diversified accounting experience, including financial analysis experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Up to 10% travel
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
