Description
Essential Job Functions- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors
- Supports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
- Supports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to align with production goals.
- Assures compliance with Company's EAM platform
- Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
- Drives site's preventative maintenance program
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Assists with maintenance parts inventory including procurement
- Provides guidance on training employees
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical diploma preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blueprints
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Able to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Computer literate
- Skills in work priorities
- Some understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
The expected salary range for this position is $117,000 - $150,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
