Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide engineering-level technical support for our data center server infrastructure—both on-premises and Azure-based. You'll play a key role in designing resilient systems, managing cloud costs, and driving strategic infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement scalable technical solutions within Azure.
- Install, configure, and support Windows servers and enterprise software.
- Maintain accurate documentation including architecture diagrams, CMDB entries, and knowledge base articles.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and availability issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and managed service providers to optimize server and VMware environments.
- Lead efforts to enforce configuration standards and resiliency best practices.
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A activities, facility design, and infrastructure decommissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- 5+ years of experience working with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience managing Azure financial costs and budgeting.
- Microsoft certifications preferred:
- Azure DevOps Engineer
- Azure Solutions Architect
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with resiliency methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with MS Exchange, ServiceNow, VMware, or other hypervisors.
