JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scores polysomnographs and generates reports.
Functions as the Polysomnographic Technologist as needed.
Provides input on and maintains personnel requirements, including job descriptions, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and continuing education for sleep lab staff in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Provides for employee selection, orientation, training, and review. Ensures consistent application of all departmental and Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) policies. Provides technical guidance for employees as it relates to procedures and operations.
Participates in promotion of clinic. Assists in the development of and coordination of accomplishing JMH and departmental goals and objectives; evaluates current practice and makes appropriate suggestions to the Chief to improve productivity and enhance expense reduction.
Assists Chief in preparing capital equipment budget and operating budget with input from department employees.
Provides appropriate services to meet the needs of the department's customers as requested, including but not limited to the provision of accurate and timely information.
Maintains and participates in Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement activities as determined by Administration, including JMH operations improvement.
Promotes positive employee relations by using positive communication methods, supporting employee continuing education and professional development; instilling employee commitment to the Mission and Values of JMH, motivate employees Io improve the image of JMH and ensuring employee commitment to customer service and continuous quality improvement.
Performs other duties as required.
Clearly communicates and continuously supports the Mission and Values of Johnson Memorial Health.
Conducts all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and Johnson Memorial Health policies and procedures including Blood and Body Substance Precautions.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Certified respiratory therapy technician or registered respiratory therapist or a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) required. Must have at least three years of experience as a polysomnographic technologist. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Must maintain current BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
75 hours per bi-weekly pay.
