This individual is responsible for identifying and pursuing large-scale national opportunities, such as chain hotels and commercial developments, working with architects, while managing intricate project details and building strong customer relationships. Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or manufacturing.
- Prior assistive or fire door experience preferred, prior door manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Office Environment: Primarily an office-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.
- Travel: Travel to customer sites required to support product sales and relationship-building efforts.
- Site Visits: Ability to visit customer sites or project locations, which may include exposure to construction environments, requiring basic safety precautions.
- Communication: Frequent verbal communication and use of computers and office equipment, including phones and emails.
Work Environment
This role is primarily based in an office environment with occasional visits to customer sites. A collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere is emphasized, with an expectation to engage with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

- Generate and qualify new leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure large-scale national accounts (e.g., chain hotels, commercial buildings).
- Conduct outreach to potential clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base.
- Negotiate pricing and prepare initial quotes before transitioning deals to the District Sales Manager (DSM) for final closure.
- Track and manage sales prospects through CRM tools to ensure timely follow-ups and conversions.
Product Knowledge & Customer Engagement
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Won-Door Corporation products, particularly new and special projects.
- Act as a primary resource for detailed product specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Lead "Lunch & Learn" sessions, product demonstrations, and business meetings to educate customers and drive sales.
- Provide insights and recommendations to customers on the best product solutions for their specific needs.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, distribution partners, and internal sales teams.
- Serve as a backup to Sales Team members (Architectural Consultants and DSMs) in customer interactions.
- Proactively communicate with customers to address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Negotiation & Pricing Strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Negotiate pricing and provide initial project quotes before passing opportunities to the DSM for finalization.
- Ensure all quotes and pricing structures align with company profitability goals.
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the sales process.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and production teams to align on customer expectations and deliverables.
- Provide valuable feedback from customers to support product development and strategic planning.
- Support initiatives for launching new products and entering new markets.
