Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our D&A team at Equifax Workforce Solutions. In this role, you will be a key player in transforming data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, develop compelling data visualizations, and provide data-driven recommendations that will inform strategic decisions. What you'll do
- Uses the data strategy to identify, research, and analyze potential new data sources, including additional uses of and improvement to existing data
- Prepares and delivers presentations and other communications on data strategy and enablement initiatives
- Leads and participates in meetings and other working routines among data, IT, product, and analytics teams, offering up solutions when appropriate
- Applies deep knowledge in a given business and data subject area to implement, operate, and improve data capabilities
- Develops subject-matter expertise for multiple business and data subject areas
- Creates materials and trains teams on data strategy and the supporting roles, responsibilities, operating model, and capabilities
What experience you need
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5-7 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, including financial services data
- Experience with SQL and BI Tools (Looker, BigQuery, Tableau, etc.), data management and/or cloud data management, product and work management tools (Aha!, Jira, ServiceNow), written and oral presentation, and data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile and other project management methods
- Cloud certification and experience with cloud or on prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data
- Experience developing/improving and implementing business strategy, operating models, and business capabilities (people, process, and IT)
What could set you apart
- Experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem and Vertex AI.
- Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis and experience developing ML models.
- Ability to create impactful slide decks and communicate complex findings in a simple, clear, and engaging manner for any audience.
