Job DescriptionAs a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will leverage your electrical background and expertise in equipment installation and industrial equipment maintenance to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently while traveling extensively to various customer sites.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work on a 100% travel schedule, including willingness to travel to Canada and Mexico.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of critical industrial equipment, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all field activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and continuous improvement feedback.
- Manage travel logistics and maintain readiness for extended assignments across North America.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2 or more years of experience in electrical equipment installation and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time, including to Canada and Mexico.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for field service work.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial field service roles.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Multilingual skills, especially Spanish or French, are a plus.
- Familiarity with Honeywell products and control systems is advantageous.

At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the IGS business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
