Description:Martin/Martin, inc. is seeking a licensed, experienced Structural Engineer with a demonstrated history of project management experience to join our growing team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers the chance to work on structural design projects both nationally and internationally across diverse markets such as healthcare, commercial, office, sports, entertainment, and education. While many of our projects are located in Georgia, Martin/Martin's national footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the country.

Examples Of Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering and technician staff to successfully complete projects
- Client Interaction: Build relationships with the project team and serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases
- Planning and Budgeting: Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff, assisting with their career development
- Relationship Building: Take an active role in representing the firm in business development pursuits
WORKING CONDITIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:
- Move inside or outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites
- Remain stationary for long periods of time
- Repetitive movement on tasks such as using a keyboard or mouse
- Carry, ascend, and descend a ladder
- Identify color
- Read, communicate, and document in English
- Determine and exchange accurate information
- Occasionally move or hold equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Investigative: Positions self in atypical environments and small, confined spaces
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
- 9 years progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year)
- Demonstrates ability to be in responsible charge of projects
- Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's future

- Successfully managed multiple projects and followed them from start of design to completion of construction
- Demonstrates effective internal and external communication skills
- Demonstrates advanced project management skills
