Description
The Sr. Technical Program Manager, reporting to the USIS Data and Analytics Program Management Lead, will play a key role within the USIS Data and Analytics Program Management Office in supporting critical projects, leading agile business practice optimization, and communicating with senior leadership. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining cross-functional project plans, supporting teams with agile practices and tools, and building strong relationships across the organization. What You Will Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent projects, of varying complexity & stages of implementation; from planning and resource allocation to execution and timely completion, aligning all efforts with business priorities.
- Facilitate agile process adoption, including leading scrum ceremonies, capturing requirements and story writing, managing and prioritizing backlogs, and leading quarterly planning exercises.
- Act as a storyteller, coordinating and developing messaging and slides to promote the D&A mission across recurring key meetings (monthly business reviews, board presentations, goals read-outs, etc.) and ad-hoc executive presentations.
- Communicate project status and key metrics effectively to project sponsors, key stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency. Develop tailored status updates for executive level review.
- Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to gain deep insights into operational processes, challenges, and interdependencies, to improve future engagements. Use these relationships to influence policies and practices across the organization.
- Champion continuous improvement actively seeking ways to create, simplify, and unify processes, practices, and team culture.
What Experience You Need
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
- 7-10 years of technical project management or agile practices as a scrum master or product owner.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with superb attention to detail.
- Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with moderate supervision.
- Solid presenter and effective communicator.
- Critical thinking skills that take a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience with Program Management and/or Agile Tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Jira, AHA, Google slides/sheets, etc..)

- Project management or process improvement certifications (e.g. Lean Six-Sigma, PMP, CAPM, etc..)
- Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner)
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases and/or SQL queries
- Visualization experience with tools like Tableau, Looker, Spotfire, etc..
