We're looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep technical expertise in Android frontline devices and identity technologies to join our Technical Services team. What is the opportunity?
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be the technical authority for escalations involving Android device management and identity integrations. You'll collaborate closely with Support, Engineering, and Product teams to diagnose and resolve challenging issues while providing strategic guidance to customers. This role requires hands-on experience with Android device frameworks, identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Okta, and authentication protocols that power secure access for frontline workers. Your expertise will not only drive technical resolution for customers but also inform Omnissa's product direction and best practice frameworks.
- Act as the go too expert for complex technical cases involving Android frontline devices and identity integrations.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues related to Android Enterprise, OEMConfig, managed configurations, and application delivery.
- Integrate and support Microsoft Entra ID , Okta , and other identity providers for SSO, federation, and conditional access scenarios.
- Perform in-depth analysis of authentication flows (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) and resolve associated token or access issues.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to influence long-term technical improvements.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles , technical documentation , and best practice playbooks for internal and external audiences.
- Mentor frontline solution engineers and contribute to internal training and enablement programs.
- Participate in customer engagements, workshops, and architecture reviews as a trusted technical advisor.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise mobility, endpoint management, or Android device administration.
- Strong expertise in Android Enterprise device management, OEMConfig , and enterprise provisioning workflows.
- Hands-on experience integrating with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and/or Okta .
- Deep understanding of SAML , OAuth2.0 , and OpenID Connect protocols.
- Proven ability to analyze logs, traces, and device-to-cloud communications for complex issue resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to varied audiences.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting frontline or rugged Android devices (Zebra, Samsung Knox, Honeywell, etc.).
- Familiarity with Workspace ONE UEM , Intune , or similar enterprise mobility management platforms.
- Certifications such as Android Enterprise Professional, Okta Certified Professional, or Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300).
- Prior experience in escalation engineering, professional services, or advanced technical support roles.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD$145,400 - $302,900 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
