Acts as the technical lead for planning/executing E3 test programs, peer reviews, E3 integration/analysis, verification activities, and HEMP/ED program compliance. Leads technical teams, coordinates with Boeing and Government stakeholders, and ensures E3 results are accurately integrated into the IDDE/GMD Element Digital Model and accompanying CDRLs (A040, A160, A161, A162).
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of GMD Element E3 testing analyses and ensure results are integrated into the GMD Element Digital Model.
- Oversee development, delivery, and maintenance of the GMD E3 Control Plan on the IDDE (CDRL A040) and lead implementation of the control plan during test events (5.10.2).
- Conduct and coordinate E3 peer reviews of GMD Component designs and E3 test results; provide assessments of electromagnetic compatibility across MDS Elements, support systems, sensors, and operational/test environments.
- Produce findings, technical recommendations, and design-change inputs based on peer reviews and test results; ensure mapping to the Digital Model and IDDE posting.
- Direct the development and delivery of E3 Integration & Analysis Reports (E3IAR — CDRL A160), E3 Verification Procedures (E3VP — CDRL A161), and E3 Verification Reports (E3VR — CDRL A162).
- Lead ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Control Plan development and maintenance on IDDE in accordance with Government MAP RAM.
- Ensure HEMP-hardening testing and compliance for component contractors per DoDI 3150.09 Change 2, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-188-125-1/2, MIL-STD-2169 and MAP RAM; review contractor test plans and results.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, test, modeling) to integrate E3 test data into the Digital Model; validate traceability from test results to model parameters.
- Act as primary technical point-of-contact to Boeing and Government stakeholders for E3 matters; present technical briefings and lead status/technical reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical quality, schedule adherence, and CDRL delivery on time and with appropriate configuration management on IDDE.
Qualifications

- Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-188-125-1/2, MIL-STD-2169, DoDI 3150.09 Change 2 and Government MAP RAM guidance.
- Hands-on or supervisory experience with E3 test execution, anechoic chambers, radiated/conducted testing, and verification procedures.
- Experience integrating test data into digital engineering environments and Digital Twin models (IDDE/GMD Element Digital Model or equivalent).
- Proficiency with EM modeling/simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, FEKO) and scripting (MATLAB, Python) for data analysis and model parameterization.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes (requirements traceability, V&V, verification plans) and configuration control.
- Strong technical writing for CDRLs and formal reports, and presentation skills.
Desired
- Master's degree; experience with MBSE/Model-Based Systems Engineering toolchains (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw).
- Prior work on missile defense, GMD, or other DoD large weapon systems.
- Experience with IDDE, digital engineering repositories, or program-specific data environments (Boeing IDDE familiarity a plus).
