Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Support (Help Desk) Associate with strong technical skills, good customer service skills, and a desire to expand those skills in a team environment. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to desktop computers, printers and software in a Windows 11 environment for a large user base. This position is fully onsite but can work hybrid as work allows.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming tickets related to computer systems, software and hardware
- Install, move, modify and repair computer hardware, software or peripherals
- Manage DHCP reservations
- Administer Microsoft Print Servers
- Add/Modify Active Directory group membership
- Install desktop software applications
- Respond to requests and queries in person, by email or over the phone
- Assist associates through trouble shooting and problem-solving
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems utilizing all monitoring tools available
- Document procedures and installations
- Work with Microsoft System Center/InTune for application deployment, reporting and management
- Assist with procurement of hardware and software licensing
Requirements
- 5+ years of recent experience as second tier Desktop Helpdesk Support
- Familiar working with Help Desk ticket systems
- Windows 11 expertise required
- Software and Hardware troubleshooting - Level I and II, printers, laptops, desktops
- Microsoft Office/365, DHCP, DNS and Active Directory/Entra ID proficiency required
- Understanding of networking, TCP/IP
- Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and a willingness to lend a hand with any project

Our anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00 per hour. At Third Federal, we're committed to transparency throughout the hiring process. The pay range listed is based on relevant market data, role responsibilities, and skills required for the position. Individual pay will be thoughtfully determined by a candidate's qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
