What You'll Do:
Responsible for managing and overseeing all activities relating to operations, fuel deliveries, customer service, and maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities for a specific region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise employees involved in the wholesale and retail fuel business.
• Primary responsibility is the health and safety of all employees and customers. Review operating results to ensure budgeted goals are achieved and expenses are controlled.
• May also develop and maintain business relationships with community leaders, local, state and federal agencies. Coordinate and collaborate as necessary with Sales, Linehaul and other departments as required.
• Help to build synergies with other highway terminals to deliver operational excellence and efficiencies.
• Main duties include hiring and training employees, creating and implementing business strategies and delegating tasks to team members.Education & Credentials:
• Associate's degree in business/related field or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
Experience:
• 7 or more years general business experience, preferably relating to petroleum product sales and deliveries. 3-5 years supervisory or management experience required.
• The TS shall have significant, specialized commercial or military experience in fuel terminal operations and maintenance performing and supervising tasks equivalent to an AF Fuels Management seven skill level (2F071) or nine-skill level (2F091) personnel.
• This experience shall include receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping petroleum products via tank truck, pipeline, rail, or tanker/barge as appropriate to the Air Force installation's mode of receipt capability and maintenance and repair of bulk petroleum storage terminals, systems, and equipment.
• The TS shall have significant, relevant, and preferably recent supervisory experience.
• Although general supervisory experience may be included, specialized supervisory experience in fuel terminal operations with emphasis in terminal maintenance, operations and environmental compliance must be predominant.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills. Ability to apply skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives.
• Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
• Ability to demonstrate experience with budget development, budget reviews and an understanding of financial processes.

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Planning and development of projects.
• Making operational and process decisions, solving problems creatively,
• Organizing and delegating assignments to team members,
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
