- Transfer Pricing Tax Manager

Job Description:The Transfer Pricing Tax Manager will manage the U.S. and international transfer pricing tax planning, reporting and compliance needs and will support US and international tax planning and tax controversy more broadly within the Mars Global Tax Team.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of public and industry experience in transfer pricing or related field, including Public Accounting (Big 4) desired.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. transfer pricing regulations and OECD guidelines.
- Proficiency in software and financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines including collaborating with non-tax Mars teams as well as Mars's external advisors.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in US and international transfer pricing law and regulations, US tax Controversy, tax Planning
- Proven effectiveness in project management, individual contributions, and team collaboration
- Experience working within a team environment, including with associates across geographic locations,
- Strong proficiency in tax reporting systems
- Proficiency in navigating workflow tools, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications.
What will be your key responsibilities?
This role is responsible for supporting the development of and executing on US and international transfer pricing policies and strategies. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support U.S. and international tax and transfer pricing planning initiatives.
- Conduct economic and financial analyses to determine appropriate transfer pricing.
- Support the company's ERP update including sharing the latest transfer pricing policies.
- Support transfer pricing audits and response to tax authority queries.
- Assist with implementing risk mitigation strategies such as APAs and MAPs.
- Indirectly manage teams of resources, both internal and external, in supporting transfer pricing related requirements.
- Monitor changes in transfer pricing regulations and ensure compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on transfer pricing matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Manage significant external tax advisor relationships

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 133,067.00 - USD 182,958.00
