Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership in Aftermarket Operations
- Oversee the development and execution of the organization's aftermarket technology strategy to drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure competitive differentiation.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify market trends and customer needs, aligning aftermarket services, products, and technologies with overall business objectives.
- Lead the Fairbanks Morse Defense Technology Team
- Spearhead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, machine learning, predictive analytics) to enhance aftermarket services such as maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and parts supply.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service offerings, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency for customers.
- Customer-Centric Solutions
- Develop and implement customer-focused aftermarket programs and solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless experience and high levels of satisfaction.
- Financial and Performance Accountability
- Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to achieve aftermarket revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor aftermarket business performance and implement corrective actions to address gaps and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Team Building and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals fostering a culture of growth, innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and integration of aftermarket technologies with core business functions.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- A minimum of ten years' experience in a manufacturing company
- 5 years of leadership experience is preferred
- Commercial experience is preferred
- Engineering leadership experience is preferred
- Naval marine market experience is preferred
- Must possess a high degree of organization skills and have a high level of oral and written communications skills
- Must demonstrate ability to maintain a high level of customer relations skills
- Due to requirements of government contracts, must be U.S. Citizen.
This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
