Description
Position Overview: This position is responsible for tracking, loading, unloading, sorting, staging and /or transporting products into and out of a warehouse Job Description: - Processes customer orders by pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area. - Manage inventory per established work practices. - Verifies materials and supplies received from vendors including documentation of transactions into computerized control systems. - May operate forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport product. - Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by placing product in correct location and keeping area free of debris. - Participates in inventory records verification and maintenance and in cycle count procedures. - Interacts with shipping companies, purchasing, customer services and/or branch management. - Works closely with local operations team supporting day to day operations of the Hillsboro site as required. Off-hours accessibility (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required. After hour call-ins are occasionally required. Qualifications: - Qualified candidate must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, organizational skills and must be able work without constant supervision. Must be a team player and be able to interact with the local operations team to support its goals. - High School Degree required - 2+ years' experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is desired - Strong technical or mechanical background desired - Strong Computer skills expected.
