Commercialization Warehouse Shipping & Receiving SpecialistPosition Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist supports the daily operations of the G&J Pepsi Centralized Point of Sale Warehouse by coordinating the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of POS materials. This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, processing and staging inventory, preparing outbound orders, and ensuring all POS items are handled, stored, and shipped according to company standards. The Specialist plays a key role in supporting Commercialization, Sales, and Field Operations by maintaining strong workflow accuracy and inventory integrity.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- • Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare POS materials and equipment for shipment to G&J Pepsi locations, field teams, and customers.
• Ensure outbound orders are labeled correctly, wrapped securely, and meet transport/CPOS shipping standards.
• Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with internal teams, carriers, and local G&J Pepsi transport schedules.
• Verify that all shipments match order documentation and maintain 99%+ accuracy on outbound processing.
• Receive incoming freight, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for accuracy or damage.
• Document discrepancies, damaged materials, or overages and communicate promptly with the Commercialization management team.
• Break down inbound shipments, scan or manually log inventory, and place items into designated storage locations.
• Ensure all POS inventory is received and input into systems within established service-level expectations.
• Maintain accurate counts of POS materials including signage, displays, equipment, shrouds, racks, and promotional items.
• Assist with cycle counts and full inventory audits as required.
• Organize warehouse stock to maximize space utilization and maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
• Support Commercialization team with forecasting and replenishment needs by reporting low stock or unusual usage trends.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, lift assists, and stretch wrappers (training provided if needed).
• Follow all G&J Pepsi safety policies and warehouse SOPs.
• Support the coordination of outbound CPOS deliveries on weekly and special project runs (Maysville truck, Columbus cross-dock, customer drop-zones, etc.).
• Assist the Commercialization and Sales Teams with special POS projects, seasonal programs, and event logistics.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with Commercialization, Columbus Warehouse, and distribution teams regarding shipments, delays, and inventory status.
• Use Microsoft Outlook for communication tracking, scheduling pickups, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
• Use Microsoft Excel to update shipment logs, manage budgets, inventory counts, tracking sheets, and internal reporting.
• Ensure all required documentation-including BOLs, shipping labels, packing lists, and receiving logs-is accurately completed and filed.
• Train as backup to the Commercialization Manager.

Education Level
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
1-3 years experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory operations preferred..
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills including ERP or inventory systems.
Microsoft Outlook (email communication, scheduling, tracking).
Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, basic formulas).
Certificates & Licenses
Valid Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment. Must be willing to obtain forklift and PHC certification.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment in a controlled atmosphere building.
