Job Title : Workday Compensation Lead (Workday Compensation Product Owner)
Reporting to : VP, HR Technology
Location : New York - 1211 6th Avenue
Job Persona : Hybrid (3 days in office)
Pay Range: $130,000 - $155,000 + Bonus
As a Workday Compensation Lead (Workday Compensation Product Owner), you will have an impact on NewsCorp's use and implementation of Compensation, Payroll and Benefit software to solve complex business requirements. Our Product Owners work to understand our users better internally and identify opportunities to improve our user experience by creating scalable and intuitive processes through our HR technology portfolio. You will be directly involved with documenting business processes, procedures, and workflows to appropriately define data/system requirements. Make dynamic prioritization decisions in an agile environment and refine the product while producing technical roadmaps.
Job Description
If you have Workday advance compensation experience, then NewsCorp's HR Technology team is looking for you.
In your role as a Product Owner, you will:
• Own Workday product, Advance Compensation, Benefits, Security, Reporting, etc.
• Work with our HR & Tech Heads, Compensation and Benefits teams, HR Business Partners, and other
global partners to set a strategy and a vision consistent with NewsCorp's corporate priorities for our HR
technology solutions for Compensation
• Actively identify opportunities to improve our HR processes through technology
• Understand both requested and non-requested needs, prioritize technology enhancement, and uncover opportunities for improvement and automation
• Actively identify opportunities to improve our HR processes through technology
• Be a conduit between the Business and IT teams to answer any questions or escalate issues as needed
• Lead the HRIS & Tech teams and various cross-functional teams to ensure new processes, new platform functionalities, and integrations are properly tested and, where needed, documented
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, and backlogs for products and services, including developing and prioritizing product proposals and user stories
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Proven hands-on Workday advance compensation configuration experience
• 5+ years of proven management experience which involves documenting business processes, procedures, and workflows.
• 2+ years working with agile delivery teams
• Experience supporting HR lines of business, and identifying areas of opportunity for technology improvement
• Experience analyzing business/employee needs, current market trends, and HR Tech systems and designing exceptional user experiences.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
• Proven experience in a dynamic product management role overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
• Team worker, responsible, delivery-oriented

Pay Range: $125,000 - $155, 000 + Bonus
