- Application Developer I
Description
What We Are Looking ForOn the Business Systems application team, you will develop custom software solutions, build relationships with key company users, and be given opportunities to take responsibility and ownership of these solutions. A successful candidate will also take on challenging assignments with opportunities for career growth.
What You Will Do
- Support existing Terminals applications and work on projects for developing new
technical solutions by utilizing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Enhance, develop applications, and manage new projects primarily based on C#.NET
technology to support the growing businessin the Terminals and Products area. - Interact with internal customers (business development, customer service
representatives, accounting, scheduling, inventory management teams) and external
customers to analyze business needs, develop & implement solutions, train customers,
and maintain the applications. - Work with other developers, provide work estimates and maintain documentation. The
position will report directly to the Manager of Application Development.
What You Need
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- At least 1 to 3 Years of work experience using Microsoft technologies in an application development environment.
- Extensive experience in using T-SQL to write and maintain complex business solutions.
- Proficiency in all aspects of the .NET application model, specifically the presentation, business, and data access (SQL Server) layers.
- Must be fluent in .NET framework environment (C# / VB. NET / ASP. NET / MVC), SQL Server data management.
- Experience in the Project life cycle, Design, Development, Testing, Migrations, and Implementations.
- Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate systems requirements verbally and in writing.
- Experience working on multiple assignments during the same time frame and juggling tasks based on relative priorities with supervisioncommensurate with grade level.
- Uses time effectively and efficiently; a team player who values the input of others and strives to solve problems for the good of all.
- Can represent own interests and yet be sensitive to others; is cooperative and encourages collaboration.
- Uses time effectively and efficiently, managing workload with strong prioritization skills.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, valuing the input of others and striving to solve problems in a way that benefits the entire group. Encourages cooperation and collaboration, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Represents personal and team interests professionally, while remaining sensitive to the perspectives and needs of others.
- Experience in Crystal reporting, SSIS, and SSRS is a plus.
- Knowledge of CDC is a plus.
- Having Terminals or Products Industry experience is a plus.
