Job Summary

The Turnaround Manager is responsible to develop, oversee, and manage the planning, execution, and completion of all turnarounds and outages at the CCR Refinery. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for CITGO and contract personnel, budgets and cost controls, and cross functional work teams including members of the safety, operations, reliability, inspection, maintenance, and management groups. This includes being responsible for oversight and development of pre-turnaround scope management and evaluates if scope goals are met.

Conducts and participates in turnaround and outage reviews to provide direction on continuous improvements that impact and minimize incidents and/or loss. The review efficiently and effectively directs, manages, and coordinates areas of safety policies, quality reviews, purchasing materials, and internal and external resources availability. Provides expertise to Management on key performance indicator status including turnaround/outage budget, risks or potential delays, reports loss/gains that occur during turnarounds and outages.

Serves and leads the Refinery in turnaround improve efforts and initiatives. Responsible to ensure compliance with all CITGO policies and procedures and ensure completion of projects without significant safety impact. Establishes goals and objectives, plans, and directs work, and sets performance criteria for the Turnaround Department.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, with (11) years of related maintenance experience, or
• Associate's degree in related field, with (13) years of related maintenance experience, or
• High School Diploma, with (15) years of related maintenance experience, in lieu of degree
• Minimum of (10) years experience in industrial maintenance/construction management
• Minimum of (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Minimum of (5) years in petrochemical or refinery industry
• Experience with SAP required
• Proficient verbal, written, and presentation communication skills required
