Description
Certified Pool OperatorWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a current CPO certification, experience maintaining commercial swimming pools, and the ability to work independently while ensuring pools remain safe, clean, and compliant with all applicable health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of commercial swimming pools and spa systems.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry.
- Maintain proper chemical levels and accurately document readings.
- Clean skimmers, baskets, filters, pumps, and other pool equipment.
- Identify and report equipment issues or needed repairs.
- Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
- Ensure all pools meet local, state, and facility safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
- Previous commercial pool maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and industry best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a military installation background check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Must be dependable, professional, and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Pay Range $22.47 per hour + $5.55 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits)
