What you will enjoy doing*
- You will operate, monitor, and optimize CO₂ production equipment, including startup/shutdown, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output
- Analyze process data, adjust conditions, and perform routine inspections and compliance checks across all intervals
- Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and diagrams; calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation (PLCs, transmitters, analyzers, valves)
- Perform basic electrical and instrumentation repairs while updating drawings and supporting MOC processes
- Further you will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems (compressors, pumps, motors, switchgear, < 600V systems)
- You will troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and document all work in CMMS
- Execute safety procedures including lockout/tagout, equipment isolation, and permit-to-work systems
- Promote a strong safety culture with hazard identification and risk mitigation
- And you will support fill zone operations, assist drivers, and operate forklifts, man-lifts, and company vehicles (5-10% travel)
- Communicate effectively across teams, contribute to process improvements, and perform additional duties as needed
What makes you great
- You have more three (3+) years of industrial plant operations and maintenance experience with strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation expertise; proven ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production systems using hand/power tools and precision instruments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred; valid driver's license required
- Experience with control systems and HMI software (Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens), including reading and interpreting P&IDs and electrical schematics; proficiency in instrumentation calibration and electrical testing (multimeters, calibration tools, 4-20mA loops, RTDs, thermocouples)
- You have working knowledge of CMMS systems and basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to support operations and quality
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement; ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, and work at heights
- Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, confined space entry); flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and call-in support with reliable attendance
- Experience in CO₂, HyCO, air separation, chemical processing, or similar industrial environments preferred; exposure to medium-voltage systems and advanced control system troubleshooting preferred
