Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a passionate, dedicated Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessments: Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and routinely.
• Care Plans: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized medical nutrition therapies (MNT).
• Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings with physicians, nursing, and therapy staff.
• Oversight: Partner with the culinary team to ensure menu compliance, food safety, and palatability.
• Education: Provide nutritional counseling to residents, family members, and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensure: Valid state licensure/certification if applicable.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
