Description
As a Director Integrated Supply Chain Project Management here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a pivotal leader in steering the success of our supply chain initiatives. With your extensive, hands-on experience in supply chain project management, you will lead end-to-end projects, meticulously overseeing planning, execution, and monitoring phases to ensure seamless project delivery.You will report directly to our Senior director customer operations leader, and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location (AZ18)
In this role, you will impact the operational excellence and strategic alignment of supply chain projects within the Customer Operations team supporting Airbus, with a specific focus on Honeywell Engines. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize project execution, and enhance collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver superior outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and articulate a forward-thinking strategic vision for the supply chain project management function, aligning it with overarching business objectives.
- Provide inspirational leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the supply chain project management team.
- Spearhead the direction and oversight of end-to-end supply chain projects, orchestrating a seamless integration of planning, execution, and monitoring phases of all Airbus platforms at Tempe facility.
- Engage extensively with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact process improvement opportunities within the supply chain including Planning, Schedulers and procurement.
- Strategically influence key decision-makers and stakeholders, championing transformative initiatives that elevate overall supply chain performance to a strategic level.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, high-level plans, timelines, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.
- Implement advanced resource allocation strategies for maximum impact.
- Monitor progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide strategic updates to executives, presenting achievements, risks, and opportunities in a manner that aligns project outcomes with overarching business objectives.
- Lead initiatives to leverage emerging technologies, integrating digital solutions to enhance visibility, automate processes, and drive operational efficiency at a senior strategic level.
- Ensure unwavering adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of project execution, integrating compliance considerations seamlessly into the strategic project management framework.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain project management, demonstrating a consistent record of success in leading and delivering complex projects.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and align supply chain projects with overall business objectives.
- Proven expertise in driving and managing change within a dynamic supply chain environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
- Expert knowledge of supply chain processes, spanning procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex supply chain projects, demonstrating expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the capacity to envision and drive the future direction of supply chain initiatives.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a complex and matrixed organization, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of new strategies.
- Experience or knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, including cultural considerations, international regulations, and regional market trends.
- Strong project management skills and adept at balancing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. PMP Certification preferred.
