Description
Work Schedule:100 FTE%, 40 hours per week, evening/night shifts. Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an ECG Technician (Electrocardiogram Tech):
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and apply various longer term ECG monitors (24hrs to 30 days) on patients.
- Opportunities to educate both adult and pediatric patients on testing procedures.
- Ensure that patients are positioned correctly, apply electrodes accurately, and assess the quality of ECG tracings.
- Opportunities to facilitate stress testing under the supervision of cardiologist, advanced practice providers or clinical exercise physiologist.
- Collaborate with all levels of clinical staff throughout the hospital.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Technical or Associate's Degree in Healthcare related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of Electrocardiograph Technician experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- CPR Certification within 180 Days Required
- CCT, CRAT, or equivalent Preferred
