In Stamford, Spartech manufactures acrylic sheets that are used in aerospace, security (bullet-resistance), displays, acrylic furniture and laser protection amongst other applications. Our products can be seen in many airplanes, fighter jet canopies, helicopters, in your local bank for protection at the teller windows, tanning beds, and other applications. We have a unique process that utilizes technology, as well as the skills and knowledge of our employees, to make quality products. This position is a key leadership and an important member of the Plant operations team as well as a resource and support team member of the Corporation's EHS team. Responsible for Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and operations at the manufacturing plant. Planning of the EHS improvement plan in collaboration and conformance with Spartech's policies. Position is responsible for executing training systems across all plant functional areas. Ensures the plant is in full compliance with all corporate, federal, state, and local Safety, Health and Environmental laws and regulations.
