What We Are Looking ForThis position is for a Nights Only 7/7 schedule. The primary purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain SACROC production and associated facilities in full compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. The position supports daily production operations through equipment monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance while ensuring accurate data recording and communication across the team. Additionally, the role helps uphold a strong safety culture by identifying hazards, performing proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and supporting permitting activities.
What You Will Do
- The candidate will operate all SACROC facilities safely and comply with regulatory agency guidelines and corporate policies.
- Work with field operators and supervision to maintain and operate, pumps, headers, and tank levels
- Perform LOTO of all equipment in an assigned area.
- Assist in repairs and maintenance issues on all equipment.
- Test/collect readings and interface with other area operators.
- Ensure quality information is being recorded and distributed and entered into a data base system. "Prodnet"
- Maintain all assigned production and rotating equipment at facilities.
- Report any and all SAFETY hazards in a timely manner.
- Must be willing to work at any given time and cover vacations.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures without deviation.
- Must have a mind set for SAFETY and achieving zero incidents.
- The candidate will also be trained in hot work and confined space permitting and will be assigned duties related to such permitting.
- Any and all cleaning and/or other duties as assigned by management.
- Job level commensurate with experience upon evaluations.
What You Need
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 to 5 yrs. minimum experience operating in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Computer skills; must be proficient in Word, and Excel.
- Must be a self-motivated individual with an open mind and willingness to learn.
- EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery)
- Operational knowledge of centrifugal pumps, water stations, high output pumps, and process flow.
- Operational knowledge of pneumatic and electrical controls, and how they relate to the process equipment.
- Be willing to work with pressure that range from 0-2200#.
- Previous training in Lockout Tagout process.
- Previous training in H2S.
