Flexible Packaging Manager
Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Flexible Packaging Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for Poly forecasting, purchasing, and inventory strategies to support projected sales volumes while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risk
- Direct and support direct reports
- BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Solid judgment along with decision making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
