In this role, you will analyze and resolve complex timekeeping and attendance issues, audit leave and payroll data for accuracy, provide training and support to employees and leaders, and help optimize workforce management processes. Working closely with operational leaders, you will ensure seamless integration between scheduling and timekeeping systems while supporting employees with payroll and time reporting questions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management and/or Kronos Workforce Management in an acute care hospital setting, along with strong knowledge of healthcare scheduling, attendance, and payroll processes. Position Summary:
The Hospital Timekeeping Analyst acts as a functional expert for the hospital campus-wide time, attendance, and scheduling systems. Analyzes and audits complex timekeeping, payroll, and benefits issues and proposes solutions.
Position Key Accountabilities:
- Analyzes and resolves time and attendance process errors and issues. Audits and monitors leave coding to help ensure accuracy of employee pay and accrual balances.
- Acts as a functional expert for time reporting, analyzes time and attendance policies and procedures, and recommends changes as necessary.
- Performs daily reconciliation between scheduling and timekeeping systems. Works with operational department heads to make adjustments as needed.
- Provides training, assistance, and support for each timekeeping system applicable to hospital employees.
- Assists with New Hire Orientation for onboarding employees.
- Responds to employee questions regarding timekeeping and/or payroll concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepares and maintains reports and queries for analysis of scheduling, timekeeping, and leave reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, computer science, or related field required May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of relevant experience required
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently to move objects.

This position is a security-sensitive position pursuant to Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094.
