What you will enjoy doing*
- You will identify and complete planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and analytical equipment
- Work independently to diagnose issues, make technical decisions, and escalate concerns to management when necessary
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and systems, including pumps, piping, valves, and related components
- Further, you will use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to perform maintenance and repair activities
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems by identifying malfunctions, disassembling equipment, and repairing or replacing components such as bearings, gears, gaskets, and fittings
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems
- Create, update, and maintain accurate work order and maintenance history records
- And you will manage critical spare parts inventory to support onsite mechanical equipment reliability
- Maintain the shop and parts warehouse in a safe and organized condition
- Complete and document predictive and corrective maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
What makes you great
- You have more than (5+) years of experience in an industrial production environment
- Ability to interpret equipment drawings
- You have functional computer skills
- Ability to support on-call responsibilities in a 24/7 operating environment
- Willingness to support multiple facilities within the Texas City/Houston Ship Channel area
