Description
As an Inspector - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our aerospace products through meticulous inspection processes. Your expertise will ensure that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of safety and performance.You will report directly to our Inspection Manager and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and safety of aerospace components, contributing directly to Honeywell's reputation for excellence and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
• Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
• Identify and report non-conformances and participate in corrective action processes.
Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this position is $55,300.00 - $82,900.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- • Experience in inspection within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques, including the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
