What you will enjoy doing*
- You will manage warehouse operations and industrial supplies, including inventory control, receiving, and stocking of hard goods, tools, and welding accessories.
- Receive incoming gas cylinders and ship or deliver outgoing products according to customer orders or instructions.
- You will perform leak checks, clean, and prepare compressed gas cylinders following standard operating procedures.
- Utilize computerized management systems and ERP software to record and track cylinder deliveries, manage industrial supply inventory levels, and note discrepancies.
- You are responsible for moving cylinders safely, load, and drive delivery trucks to assigned destinations.
- You will handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock replenishment at supply centers and customer sites to ensure accuracy.
- You will follow all company safety policies, practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage administrative tasks including filing, emails, inventory database management, and use of handheld tracking devices.
What makes you great
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in a warehouse, plant, or manufacturing environment preferred
- You possess a valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with current Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Maintain a clean driving record with no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years and no alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- You hold a current medical examiner's certificate or be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical
- Demonstrate proficiency in order pulling, forklift operation, and loading/unloading procedures
