What you will enjoy doing*
- You will serve as primary technical resource for maintenance of rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, and gear systems)
- And you will support reliability of fixed equipment including heat exchangers, coolers, and cold boxes
- Oversee auxiliary systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and water treatment systems
- Lead predictive maintenance programs (vibration and oil analysis) and ensure timely issue resolution
- You will conduct and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate equipment failures and identify and resolve chronic reliability issues ("bad actors")
- Moreover, you will develop and execute small capital/expense projects (<$100K) to improve equipment reliability
- Support long-term reliability strategies and mitigation plans for mechanical assets
- Analyze performance data and drive improvements in reliability and efficiency
- You will assist with cost estimation for maintenance activities and reliability projects
- Support turnaround planning and execution efforts
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Also, you will lead resolution of high-impact issues with urgency and strong accountability
What makes you great
- You have an Engineering degree (Associate/Bachelor) with 5+ years of relevant experience OR 15+ years of hands-on experience without a degree
- Must hold Level I Vibration Analysis certification
- You have demonstrated experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotating/mechanical equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Further, you are able to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and present information to teams
- Capable of working independently and delivering results with minimal supervision
- You have experience leading or contributing to cross-functional teams
- Proven self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes
- Proficient in standard computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.)
- Work in both field and office environments with 20-30% domestic travel and off-hours availability
