- Manufacturing Test Technician Level 1 - M-F (Swing shift) **Must be able to work overtime
Description
As a Technician - ISC-Mfg - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the manufacturing operations within our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Your technical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our production processes.In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations by ensuring that equipment is well-maintained and operating at peak performance. Your contributions will help to reduce downtime, improve product quality, and support the overall success of our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Process modules and end items through Environmental Screening area working with production equipment including laser sealing, vibration testing, burn-in ovens, and acceleration testing.
- Key role will be testing parts through vibration, burn-in, laser weld, fine leak, and acceleration which requires comfort loading programs on a computer and interacting with software during this process.
- Tasks will involve handling sensitive electronic modules and use of hand tools necessary to complete the tasks.
- Need to be detail oriented and able to communicate when a part does not meet specifications and coordinate delivery parts to internal customers.
- Maintain record logs, filling out operation sheets and loading equipment.
- Must be willing to join a face paced environment
Qualifications
Swing shift position from 1:00pm-9:30pm; Initial training will occur on dayshift for the first few months (7:00am-3:30pm) prior to transitioning to swing shift.
******Must be able to work overtime hours to meet business needs.
Pay Transparency
The hourly pay range for this position is $23.80 - $29.75. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum one year of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience using computer with basic understanding of MS Office products.
- Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. and comfortably work on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to wear PPE for an extended period of time while performing vibration testing.
- Must be able to understand written and oral work instructions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
- Must be able to work overtime hours to meet business needs.

- Experience reading operation sheets to determine what test to run and exact specifications of that test.
