A full-time Prequalification Analyst to join our Whiting-Turner team.

What It Takes

The ideal candidate has a background in business and construction with an understanding of accounting principles , financials analysis, and an interest in the construction field. This individual will bring experience of providing customer service in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants will join our prequalification team in reviewing subcontractor prequalification profiles.

• Assignments include daily office attendance to local Whiting-Turner office
• Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours /week

Job Description

Reporting Relationship : will report to a department manager, coordinator, or analyst .

Tasks Assigned : You will be responsible for various aspects of risk analysis for financial , safety and other aspects of prequalification . Your daily tasks will include some or all the following:

• Utilizing prequalification software
• Reviewing subcontractor submissions for completeness & accuracy while maintaining quality and productivity goals
• E ngaging with trade partners & subcontractors for missing information
  • By both written (email) and phone
• Analyzing income & balance statements for financial risk evaluation
• Providing feedback to other analysts and project teams on risk findings
• Attending weekly progress meetings
• Assisting with maintaining logs as required
• And any other duties that may be assigned

Required Skills

Technical Capabilities : Qualified candidates should be familiar with the following software : Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.

This salary range is for Maryland only.

Salary Range

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00
