Description
As a Principal Account Manager Missiles and Munitions here at Honeywell, you will leverage your extensive experience in managing strategic defense accounts to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships within the missiles and munitions sector. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and mentoring sales teams to ensure market leadership and customer satisfaction in this critical defense domain.You will report directly to our Senior Director Lockheed Martin Customer Business team, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN or Clearwater, FL location on a remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's defense business by managing and growing strategic accounts in the missiles and munitions market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and driving continuous growth through innovative solutions and strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic defense accounts focused on missiles and munitions, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within the defense sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions specific to missiles and munitions.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added defense solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
- Responsible for leading cross-functional development product teams in fulfillment of customer deliverables.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key defense accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Knowledge of the defense industry, preferably missiles and munitions markets, including understanding of customer requirements and regulatory environment.
- Strong expertise in strategic account planning, contract negotiation, and delivering tailored solutions to complex defense customers.
- Experience leading and developing proposals for the US defense market
- Strong familiarity with FAR regulations and government compliance relative to DoW procurements.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage accounts and sales pipelines effectively.

- Experience working within the aerospace and defense industry, particularly with missiles and munitions customers.
