As a Principal Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Anthem Avionics, you will play a critical role in prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. You will be the planning and execution leader for Honeywell Aerospace Anthem customer projects and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical and tactical execution for complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircraft operate. Your experience in systems and project engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.
You will report directly to one of our Next-Gen Avionics Engineering Directors and you'll work out of our north Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Systems or Computer Science degree
• 10+ plus years of relevant engineering experience
WE VALUE:
- Experience with integrated avionics systems and complex system-of-systems architectures
- Knowledge of industry regulations, certification standards, and compliance processes
- Business acumen, including familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and program financials
- Demonstrated experience leading large, multi-disciplinary engineering programs
- Strong ability to operate with minimal supervision and make high-impact decisions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of change management and configuration management
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
