You will be the engineering project leader and be the primary decision maker for engineering program cost, schedule and engineering issues. You will lead a team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance for Avionics Hardware (Epic, Apex, and/or Anthem) programs with a focus on displays and graphics hardware programs such as the displays, controllers and advanced graphics modules.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Avionics Engineering Programs across multiple Centers of Excellence and/or 3 rd party suppliers
- Work with CBT, PMO, and other leadership
- Manage engineering cost and schedule
- Assess and drive achievement of programs
- Strategy development
- Early problem detection and course correction.
- Annual Operating Plan
- Manage short and long term staffing needs
- Involvement with program pursuits and launches
- Manage Program Metrics
Qualifications
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or similar
- 8+ years engineering experience

- Experience leading Aerospace engineering projects and/or teams
- Business acumen knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
- Strong management operating system that facilitates communication
- Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development.
- Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers
- Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.
- Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
- Significant experience in engineering
