As a Defense and Space Program Director here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee critical defense and space programs, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives. You will leverage your expertise in program management and defense industry knowledge to drive program efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will report directly to our senior leadership and you'll work out of one of our designated Honeywell locations in Clearwater FL or Phoenix AZ on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of high-profile defense and space projects, contributing to national security and advancing aerospace technology. Your leadership will be vital in managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage defense and space programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop and implement program plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet program objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive program success and resolve issues.
• Monitor program performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards, regulations, and Honeywell program management policies.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to program management teams.

Qualifications
US PERSONS REQUIREMENT

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive experience in program management within the defense and aerospace sectors.
• Strong knowledge of defense industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex programs and cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and program performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with program management tools and software relevant to defense and aerospace projects.
